Zirconium(IV) n-butoxide

Tetrabutyl zirconate (CAS number 1071-76-7) is a commonly used organozirconium reagent, primarily used as a precursor for the preparation of zirconia nanopowders, functional thin films, and zirconium-based ceramic materials. It acts as a crosslinking agent in coatings, improving weather resistance and hardness; it can also serve as a catalyst in organic synthesis and is used in the preparation of optical coatings, electronic ceramics, and other zirconium-based functional materials.
