Butyltinhydroxide-oxide, MBTO

Butyltin acid (CAS 2273-43-0) is a highly effective organotin catalyst, primarily used in the synthesis of polyester resins for powder coatings; it catalyzes the curing of polyurethane elastomers and coatings, as well as esterification/transesterification reactions; it can also be used as an organotin intermediate in the preparation of plastic heat stabilizers, and is used in textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries and adhesive production to improve product performance and reaction efficiency.
